This is another of my series of capturing 180ยบ panoramic compositions of the full moon just after it rises in the east with the sun just setting on the opposite horizon. These are challenging photographs to capture and I’m lucky if I get a good one once a year. This setting is at Sleeping Bear Point at the Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore in Leelanau County. The Manitou Islands are visible and Pyramid Point to the right.
