I'm drawn towards sedges or reeds commonly found on many lakeshores on small inland lakes. This is at Otter Lake in Benzie County and located within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore boundary. I was struck by the straight line of sedges flanked by some bent ones just as ice was beginning to form on them. It was photographed and presented as a high key image.
