MSC373 Fogbow Over Pelky Barn

This is an unusual phenomenon that I have only seen this one time called a fogbow. Sometimes known as a white rainbow it’s related to a regular rainbow but because the water particles in fog are much smaller they don’t create the color in a normal rainbow after a rainfall. Thjis photograph is the Pelky barn next to the Tweddle Schoolhouse along M-22 in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
