There are many small lakes located within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and among them is Loon Lake. If you’ve ever taken a canoe or kayak trip from Riverside Canoes on M-22 then you’ve paddles across a chunk of Loon Lake. I set up my gear one spring evening to see what I might capture as a star trail and was rewarded with this lovely composition.
