All along the Lake Michigan lake shore it is dotted with the skeletons of old cedar trees. This one caught my eye with the bend in the trunk likely from the strong winds off the lake as it was growing. This same tree appears in BD205 Platte Bay Summer Day Pano and BD207 Platte Bay Summer Day Square . The texture in the tree and clouds dictated a black and white conversion. This is within the Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore.
