FKLT168 Starry Light 1
$20.00 Base Price
A very interesting shot close up of the Frankfort Lighthouse taken from the access pier. The Frankfort light is more challenging to shoot that Point Betsie. The original Fresnel Lens is very bright and is a constant light. It doesn't rotate like some lighthouse lamps do. So you need to be close to the structure with a very wide angle lens. The “beams” in the sky are light refracting off of moisture in the air and the breaks are caused by the light being blocked by the catwalk railing on the tower. Lights at the base on the right were a couple of fishermen with headlamps on and moving around. This was shot the same night as FKLT168 Starry Light 2
