I love the many small lakes and lake shore as winter slowly sets in and begins to freeze the water. It freezes at night only to partially thaw in the day over and over which forms interesting shapes and patterns. This is Otter lake in Benzie County which is within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore boundary.
