This was shot from a boat on the Full Blue Moonrise in August of 2012. You never know what you'll get when you shoot moonrises; there's a cloud bank in the wrong place or haze on the horizon that wasn't apparent. This moonrise was as perfect as it gets at Point Betsie and I felt like a kid in a candy store. I'm delighted with this shot as well as
